Eligibility
- Each lady must be a naturally born, genetic female
- Must be between the ages of 17-27. Ladies participating in local preliminary pageant leading to the state Miss Black New York USA pageant maybe 16 years of age providing they reach their 17st birthday prior to the start date of the Miss Black New York USA pageant.
- Must be a high school graduate
- She must be a citizen of the USA through either birth or naturalization process.
- English is the official language of the Miss Black USA pageant
- Each lady must be of good moral character
- Each lady must either live, work, or went to school in the state of New York.
